Washi Paper Grab Bag Strips -Grab Bag of Washi paper is great for any multi-media project.  They would make a great mosaic, finish the inside or outside of your gourds and more.Grab Bag of Washi paper Stripes - Strips vary in length most but not all approximately 36" long at minimum 12 strips. All bundles are done by weight which is approximately 1 oz.These are similar to our last grab bag, but left the pieces long and not chop them up to fit in a bag.The paper ranges in length and width   These are the edges or pieces that that is left over during the cutting process our standard sheets sold separately.Each Grab Bag is differentThe photos are sample of a few of the lots1 grab bag approx 1 ozWashi is the Japanese word for the traditional papers made from the long inner fibres of three plants, wa meaning Japanese and shi meaning paper. As Japan rushes with the rest of the world into the 21st Century, and more modern technologies take over, machines produce similar-looking papers which have qualities very different from authentic washi. As of the fall of 2008, there remained fewer than 350 families still engaged in the production of paper by hand.
